Patricia Quarles

Patricia Quarles, age 79, of Tuscaloosa, died March 10, 2017, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Graveside Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at Wesley Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery with Brother Jim Smith officiating and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Lois Wicker; and brother, Robert Wicker. Survivors include daughters, Debra Bell (Dennis) of Ralph, Ala. and Shawn McCarter (Charles) of Cottondale, Ala.; sons, Donald Quarles (Roxana) of Ralph, Ala. and Dana Quarles (Michelle) of Holt, Ala.; sisters, Dorothy Sue Wright of Orange, Texas and Pam Butler of Tupelo, Miss.; Anne Turman Sister-in-Law; eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Patricia was born March 27, 1937 in Brownville, Alabama, Tuscaloosa County. She was a homemaker and worked at Heritage Health Care (Beauty Shop) until retirement. She was a longtime member of Alberta Methodist Church then joining Wesley Chapel Methodist Church. Pallbearers will be Maverick Shinholster, Shane Shinholster, Ryan McCarter, Jon Thomas, Robert Hall and Donnie Butler. Honorary pallbearers are Forest Manor Rehab and staff, Alabama Hospice Care, Regency Retirement Village and friends and neighbors of Alberta City. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Wesley Chapel Church or Wesley Chapel Cemetery Fund.
