Orville Springfield Crawford TUSCALOOSA Orville Springfield Crawford, age 92, of Tuscaloosa and a former long time resident of Saraland, Alabama, died October 15, 2013, at Heritage Healthcare. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. today, October 17, 2013 at Campground United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. George Jackson officiating and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. She was preceded in death by her husbands, T.R. Springfield and Kermit Crawford; parents, M.W. Willingham and Dora Lee Dennis Willingham; son, Rev. Larry Springfield; sister, Maureen Champion; and brother, Norman Willingham. She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Springfield; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Rogers (Richard); grandchildren, Mark Springfield, Matt Springfield (Emily), Ashley Sykes (Larry); and great-grandchildren, Stephen, Ben, and Emma Springfield and Kaley Sykes. She is also survived by her sister, Mrs. Bobbie Boyles and sister-in-law, Mrs. Clara Willingham; nieces, nephews and other relatives. Thank you to the staff (current and former) of Station 3 at Heritage Healthcare for loving Orville and tolerating her daughter! Ya'll are the best. Thank you to Hospice of West Alabama for your compassionate care. A special thank you to Miss Louise and Miss Laura for your visits that made mother laugh - she loved you both. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Campground Cemetery Fund, Hospice of West Alabama or one's favorite charity.
