Edward Moore TUSCALOOSA Edward "Curly" Moore, age 81, of Tuscaloosa, died Sept. 26, 2012, at Hospice of West Alabama. A private memorial service will be held at a later date with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Minnie and Rev. H.C. Moore; three brothers, E.M. "Turk" Moore, John E. "Cotton" Moore, and M.C. Moore; his only son, Bill Terry Moore; sisters-in-law, Jewel, Roxie, and Francis Moore; and great-grandchild, Emma Claire Howell. Survivors include his daughters, Linda Rittenhouse and Brenda Brooks; sister, Eveleen Montgomery; granddaughter, April Brooks Howell (Vince); great-grandddaughter, Abigail Grace Howell; the mother of his children, Jo Moore Scott; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Honorary pallbearers are Cecil Eaton, Billy Boyd, Carmen and Carol Talerico, Davis and Shirley Culp, Doug Rhodes, Lester Davis, Deb Compton, the Rubio family, the Moose Family Center, and the caring staff of Cancer Center of Tuscaloosa, Tuscaloosa Urology Center, and Hospice of West Alabama. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of West Alabama.
