Norman Green

Norman Christopher Green SAMANTHA - Norman Christopher Green, age 43, of Samantha, Alabama, was born on March 13, 1972 and died February 7, 2016. Services will be held at Phillips Chapel Baptist Church on Thursday, February 11, 2016, at 2 p.m., and a graveside service will follow at Haygood Cemetary with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jim and Jean Holloway and Bruce Green. Survivors include his daughters, Christin, Ashleigh and Lesleigh Green; parents, Norman and Wanda Green; siblings, Chad Green, Nicole Thrasher (Matthew), Chan Green and Corey Green; grandmother, Louise Green; and a host of nieces and nephews. Chris' love for playing guitar brought him joy and joy to all who heard him play. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed spending time with his friends and family hunting and fishing. Chris was a father, son, grandson, brother, uncle and friend to many who will be greatly missed. Pallbearers will include: David Hayworth, Tony Green, Anthony Wyatt, Brian Lake, Brad Peak and Marc Courville. The family would like to give a special thanks to Aunt Rhonda and Aunt Kristi and friends in the community.
