Nettie Ruth Fields
Moundville} Nettie Ruth Fields, age 91 of Moundville, passed away on December 26, 2018 at Moundville Health and Rehab. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Moundville with Rev. Patsy Tant officiating and Magnolia Chapel South directing.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Edward and Laura Burroughs Fields, sister; Glady's Fields Freeman and her brother Raymond E. Fields.

Survivors include her sisters; Jackie F. Redding (Billy), and Annie Earle Jackson (Johnny) , sister in law; Annie Ruth Fields, brothers; Irvin Fields (Barbara) and Buddy Fields (Ginny), special nieces; Tammy Poole, Paige Robertson, Nesa Terry and numerous nieces and nephews.

Nettie Ruth, one of God's "special children" was born to Edward and Laura Fields. She spent her 91 years in Moundville where she loved everyone. Early in the morning on December 26th Jesus came and quietly took our precious earthly angel Nettie Ruth to her eternal home, although our hearts are broken, we rejoice in the fact that we can be certain that she is happy in her eternal home.

Pallbearers will be Danny Matherson, John Jackson, Tony Redding, Ray Fields, Mike Freeman, Haden Hall, Ken Robertson, Mark Terry, and Dennis Fields.
Honorary pallbearers will be her caretaker; Catrena Wilson, Friends of Taylors Chapel, Golden Years, Moundville Garden Apartments, and Dr. Larry Skelton and staff.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations in Nettie's memory to Taylors Chapel Church of the Nazarene.
