Nazzie Lee Rogers NORTHPORT - Nazzie Lee Rogers, age 76, died December 18, 2016 at home. Services will be 12 noon, Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Magnolia Funeral Home North with Rev. Terrell Jones and Rev. Jerry Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow in Phillips Chapel Freewill Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Illa Phillips; sisters, Nellie Phillips, Ella Mae Smalley and Dottie Connell; brothers, Eddie, Buddy, Guin, Waylon and Ellis Phillips. Survivors include her husband, Waymon ""Coon"" Rogers; sister, Margaret Smith (deceased, William); and brother, J.M. Phillips (Eloise). Pallbearers will be Michael Phillips, Joe Allen Rogers, Steve Phillips, Donnie Smith, David Phillips and Robert Phillips. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Harrell, Wes Falls, Ashley, Rachel, Carrie, Ron, Chaplain Jim and everyone else that helped care for her. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the American Alzheimer's Association .
