Navoni W. Green TUSCALOOSA Navoni W. Green, age 90, of Tuscaloosa, died March 5, 2012, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South with Rev. Dwight Kizziah officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Green, and her parents. Survivors include her very close friend, Marvin "Buddy" Upchurch; her daughters, Donna G. Smalley and Judy Kizziah (Dwight); her son, Kenneth Green; four grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was a loving and giving wife and mother and a trusted and selfless friend to all who knew her. She will be sorely missed. Pallbearers will be Joe Acre, David Acre, Michael Kizziah, Jeremy Meggs, Randy Kizziah, James Matyk, and Timmy Kizziah. Honorary pallbearers are ACCU nursing staff, Dr. Phil Hemstreet, Jeremy Kelly CRNP, Dr. Debra Davis, RN Thomas of the 7th floor, and DCH Home Health. Published in Tuscaloosa News on March 7, 2012
