Nancy L. Chism; Mom, Mawmaw, Aunt Dodoe, went to be with the Lord. She was a long time member of Lakewood Baptist Church and helped with The Food Pantry before her health began to decline. She was known to all for her great cooking skills, especially her biscuits! No one left hungry from her home; especially before or after a hunting or fishing trip! She was a "domestic engineer" for 56 years, raising 3 daughters and a host of nephews and nieces. Then, the joy of her life came along, grandchildren. Later the most special, great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Steven Fikes, Garrett Johnson, Ryan Stanford, David Green, Chad Green, Lance Green, Jared Fikes, and Carter Stanford.
Honorary pallbearers are Justin Weidemann, Kay Crawford, Hospice of West Alabama, and friends of Lakewood Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers the family asks donations be made to Alabama Baptist Children's Home, Hospice of West Alabama, or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
