Myra Jo Snipes Clary TUSCALOOSA | Myra Jo Snipes Clary, age 83, of Tuscaloosa, died June 11, 2015, at Forest Manor Health and Rehabilitation. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South with Pastor Paul McVay officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Clary; sister, Shirley Jay; brother, Edward Snipes; and parents, Luther and Estelle Snipes. Survivors include her sons, Jerry Clary (Cybil), of Fayette and Ryan Clary, of Tuscaloosa; sisters, Mildred Hoggle and Virginia Yawn; grandchildren, Jenna Clary and Spencer Clary; and numerous nieces and nephews. Myra was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church. Pallbearers will be Chuck Jay, George Jay, Butch Chandler, Spencer Clary, Brian Johnson, and Larry Brackin. Honorary pallbearers are member of Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church and staff of Gateway to Beauty.
