Mona Glover, born October 11, 1969, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 11, 2024, at Hospice of West Alabama, surrounded by friends and family.
Mona lived in Moundville, Alabama with her husband, Thomas Glover. She is survived by Thomas, her daughters, Courtney Wallace, and Carolyn Bailey, as well as her two granddaughters. She also leaves behind her father, Marcus Plummer and brothers, Mark, and Mike Plummer.
Mona was a beloved teacher that taught in the Hale County school system for 25 years. She used her gifts to impact the lives of many others. Mona especially enjoyed being a mother and grandmother. She will be remembered by her ability to love others, her compelling personality, and her delightful sense of humor.
Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home with the service to follow, beginning at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to Breakthrough T1D. This cause was important to Mona, as her granddaughter was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes this year. The family would like to thank those who have reached out and supported them during this difficult time.
