Mirnith Marie Bracknell BROOKHAVEN, Miss. | Mirnith Marie Bracknell, age 97, of Brookhaven, Mississippi, died October 20, 2014, at Silver Cross Nursing Home. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, October 23, 2014, at Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. Allen Foster officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. She was preceded in death by her husband, George J. Bracknell; her parents; brothers, Leslie, Haywood and Charles Shuttlesworth; sisters, Mamie Bracknell and Lanell Burroughs; and sister-in-law, Adaline Shuttlesworth. Survivors include her daughter, JoAnne Bracknell Redd of Hazlehurst, Miss.; three grandchildren, Selina Redd Lucas (Keith), Jennifer Redd Williams (David), and Adrienne Redd Guidry (Kenneth); nephew, DeeWayne Burroughs; and nieces, Marie Burroughs, Susan Baker, Jean Armstrong and Joelle Tolbert. Mirnith was born in Duncanville, Alabama to Quentin and Lula Doss Shuttlesworth. She was a homemaker and member of Liberty Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Keith Lucas, Adam Lucas, Will Lucas, Duncan Bane, Patton Bane, Kenneth Guidry, Jody Long, Chris Long, James Allen and Robert Simmons.
