Minnie Louise Mayfield MOUNDVILLE - Minnie Louise Mayfield, age 84, died December 17, 2016 at Moundville Health and Rehabilitation. Services will be 11 a.m. December 21, 2016 at Stewart Methodist Church with Bro. Bill Curtin officiating. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be December 21, 2016 one hour prior to the services at the church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Allie and Minnie Nichols and her husband, William Vaughn Mayfield. Survivors include Vicki Hall (Buddy) of Greensboro, Ala., Sherry Nichols (Robert) of Beaver Dam, Ken.; son, Scott Mayfield; sister, Nell Ladnier; brothers, Agee Nichols, Robert Leroy Nichols, Allie Eugene Nichols, Jr.; grandchildren, Scottie Lake (Thomas), Kelci Mayfield, Mallory Kelley, Taylor Mayfield, Colby Mayfield; and great-grandchildren, Addy Grace Lake, Parker Lake, and Hymsleigh Schultz. Louise was a loving wife, mother and Nana. She was a faithful member of Stewart Methodist Church. She was known for being a great cook in the community and especially known for her caramel cakes. She will truly be missed. Pallbearers will be Tommy Martin, Robert (Bimbo) Nichols, Christopher Terry, Kent McCray, Donnie McKemie, Marty Wheat, Ken Ryan and Jack Mills. Honorary pallbearers are employees of Moundville Health and Rehabilitation and Amedisys Hospice Care.
