Mildred Findlay Sharp TUSCALOOSA | Mildred Findlay Sharp, age 91, of Tuscaloosa, Ala., died Sunday, June 22, 2014 at Heritage Health Care. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. June 25, 2014 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Moundville, Ala. Magnolia Chapel South will be handling arrangements. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pat E. Sharp, Jr., son, Pat E. Sharp, III, and infant daughter, Anna Louisa Sharp. Survivors include her daughters, Genie Elliott and husband C.D. and Kathy Sharp; son, Bob Sharp and daughter-in-law Sondra Sharp; grandchildren, Debra Cauthen, Scott Elliott and wife Cissy, Keith Sharp and wife Paige, Ashley Lowery and her husband Steve, Tonya Hyche and her husband Steve, Becky Lewellyn, Kasey Matthews and her husband Carter, Brody Neill and Corey Neill and his wife Jessica; and seventeen great-grandchildren. She was born December 15, 1922 to the late Wes and Verlie Findlay and she and her late husband Pat reared their family in Moundville, Alabama where she was a member of the Moundville United Methodist Church. Pallbearers will be grandsons and grandsons-in-law. The family wishes to thank Dr. Regina Harrell, staff and caregivers of Morning Pointe Assisted Living and Heritage Health Care and Rehab for their loving care. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Moundville United Methodist Church or Hospice of West Alabama.
