Mildred Christian

Mildred Dockery Christian, age 91, of Coker, Ala., died July 26, 2017, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, July 31, 2017, at Mount Olive Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Tindle officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Christian; parents; and one sister, Audrey Standridge. Survivors include her daughter, Allison Ball (Anthony); son, Roger Christian (Donna), both of Coker, Ala.; grandchildren, Shannon Dale (Charlie), Kelly Babb (Chris), Gavin Christian and Cheyenne Ball; and great-grandchildren, Spencer Babb, Selah Babb, Michaela Dale, Moriah Dale and Miabelle Dale. Pallbearers will be Gary Newman, George Evans, Roy Kelley, David Richardson, Marcus Hartley, Bryan Galloway, Lawrence Barrett and Daryl Lee. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Leonard Jones, Lynn Tucker, Martha Chandler, friends of Mount Olive Baptist Church and community and Mount Olive Church Deacons. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Mount Olive Baptist Church Children"�s Department.
