Michael Pate

Michael Forrest "Mickey" Pate, age 68, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2020, at Hale County Hospital. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, November 28, 2020, at Rosemont Cemetery in Uniontown, Al., with Pastor Wade McCrory officiating and Magnolia Chapel South directing.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph William Pate; mother, Mary O. Taylor; sister, Peggy Pate Walker and a brother, Rusty Simmons.

He is survived by his sisters, Betty Pate Smith(Henry) and Jean Pate Fikes; brother, Joe Pate(Lisa) and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mickey was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was a former truck driver.

Pallbearers will be Michael Osmer, Danny Harper, Bill Sorrells, Jim Sealy, Gary Burt and Cole Simmons.

Honorary pallbearers are Selma VA Center, Plastics and Former Employees's of Dairy Fresh.
