Merrill Rudowski

Northport - Merrill Rudowski, of Northport, Alabama passed away on June 14, 2019. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at 11:00 am at Mt. Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery with Elder James Pugh officiating with Magnolia Chapel North directing. Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Magnolia Chapel North Funeral Home on Monday, June 17, 2019.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Rudowski; parents, Walter and Willie Anders; brothers W.F. Anders and Dan Anders; sister-in-law, Agnes Anders.

Survivors include daughter, Martha Willingham (Elden) of Northport, AL.; sons, Frank Rudowski, John Rudowski (Sharron) both of Northport, AL.; brother-in-law and sister in law, Mike and Faith Kardash of Nanticoke, PA.; grandchildren, Chris W. Willingham (Jill) of Baltimore, MD. and Kyle Rudowski (Crystal) of Northport, AL.; great-grandchildren, Claire and Michael Willingham of Baltimore, MD., and Zane and Erica Rudowski of Northport, AL; and many other loving relatives.

She was born in Northport, AL. on May 26, 1923. She worked in the medical field and retired from DCH after 23 years of service.

Pallbearers are Chris Willingham, Elden Willingham, Danny Anders, Kyle Rudowski, Lance Terry, Mike Anders, and Rocky Montgomery.

Honorary pallbearers are Phylis Rudowski, Amedisys Hospice, Dr. Regina Harrell, Dr. Thomas McDermott, Pauline Ellis, all friends and neighbors that have been so caring and supportive during her illness.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Mt. Hebron Cemetery Fund (C/O Charlotte Guin 17437 Hwy 171 Northport, AL. 35475).
