Matthew Tyler Magnuson Charlotte, N.C | Matthew Tyler Magnuson, age 27, of Charlotte, N.C. died October 23, 2017 at home. Services will be held on Sunday October 29, 2017 at Magnolia Chapel South at 3:00pm with Pastor Randy Fuller officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 3:00pm at Magnolia Chapel South. Magnolia Chapel North is in charge of arrangements. Matthew is preceded in death by his grandmother Florence Veney Davenport. He is survived by his mother Tammi Shuttlesworth (Johnny) and father Maurice Davenport (Robin) ; sisters; Ashlea Dotson (Billy), Amy Burroughs, Shanna Shuttlesworth, and Etoyia L. Roane, brothers; Nathan Magnuson, Cody Shuttlesworth, Bradley Shuttlesworth (Krystle) Brandon Shuttlesworth (Jenny), and Jalen Davenport, grandparents; Robert and Linda Beynon and Jerdie Davenport, three aunts; Victoria Parisi (Larry), Heather Brown (Donnie), and Caitlin Goins (Darrell) and one uncle; Robert C. Beynon (Stacey) and many nieces and nephews. From the moment Matthew was placed in his mothers arms she knew his name was perfect, meaning gift from God, that was exactly what he was. His sole purpose in life was to be like Jesus, sharing his love and salvation message to whoever he encountered. Matthew fulfilled His destiny.
