Mary Carolyn Seales

Mary Carolyn Seales, age 85 of Moundville, passed away May 19, 2024 at Moundville Health and Rehab. Services will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Magnolia Chapel South with Rev. Albert Lyles officiating and Magnolia Chapel South directing. Burial will follow at Ramey's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Seales; mother, Audie Merle Reid; father, Henry Reid; brother, Harrison Reid.

Survivors include her daughters, Audrey Stephens of Fort Oglethorpe, GA., Pam Morrison of Moundville, AL., Kim Sanford of Northport,AL.; son, Samuel Ray Seales of Moundville, AL.; grandchildren, Meagan Bott, Ambuir Clary, Kyle Stephens, Shane Stephens, Tanner Seales, Ivy Seales, Nathaniel Sanford, Deanna Sparks, Kristina Kemp, and 15 great grandchildren.

Mary was born in Calhoun, Mississippi on April 29, 1939. She graduated from Tuscaloosa County High School. She raised four children, worked at Sherwood Forest Daycare and later retired from Phifer Wire. She was a member of Rhodes Chapel and Valley View Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be Tanner Houston Seales, Dan Bott, Kyle Stephens, Quinn Stephens, Shane Stephens, and Donald Morrison.
