Mary Sanford

Mary Dell Sanford, age 93 of Bessemer, Alabama passed away on April 18, 2020 at Hospice of West Alabama. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Oregonia Baptist Church Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Caro Sanford; parents, James "Cap" and Margaret Barrentine and granddaughter, Michele Vickers.

She is survived by her daughter, Rachel Christian; son, Harold M. Sanford; grandchildren, Rhonda Carr(Tony), Rodney Christian(Darlene), Yancy Christian (a special grandson) and foster grandchild, Courtney Doss.

Pallbearers will be Eric Christian, Rodney Christian, Blake Rogers, Cliff Vickers, and Matthew Christian.

Honorary pallbearers, Joe Knight, Patricia Sanford and nurses and staff of Hospice of West Alabama.

Mary enjoyed quilting, her flowers, going to flea markets and yard sales. She loved her dog, "Booggie".

She will truly be missed by all.
