Mary Pritchett

Mary Elizabeth "Liz" Parson Pritchett, age 80, passed away on March 6, 2019 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Liz was born on December 3, 1938 in Bessemer, AL to Oscar and Irma Lois Parsons. She was one of five girls who were very close  to each other. Losing her mother at an early age taught her to live simply and give selflessly. She later became a devoted wife and mother who dedicated her life to being a homemaker and raising two sons. She was always taking care of others. She was a strong woman who sacrificed for her family and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. We take comfort in knowing she is reunited with loved ones and rejoicing in heaven.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Robert, sisters; Patricia Beck and Ann Banks.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth Pritchett and wife, April, sisters, Betty Faye Hulgan and Hattie McCool, grandchildren; Tyler Gilliam and Cade Pritchett.

A celebration of life will be Friday, March 15, 2019 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home, 6100 Old Greensboro Road ,  Tuscaloosa, AL.
