Mary Lollar

Mary Lee Lollar NORTHPORT - Mary Lee Lollar, age 85, died December 17, 2016. Services will be 11 a.m. December 21, 2016 at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North with Gary Hill and Heath Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in Piney Woods Cemetery. Visitation will be December 20, 2016 from 5-7 p.m. at Magnolia Chapel North. She was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Lollar; mother, Fannie Daw; brother, Buck Bigham; sister, Kathryn Whatley; and daughter-in-law, Peggy Lollar. Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Jones; sons, Mike Lollar, Sherman Loller (Sondra); sister, Bertha Patton; brother, Troy Lee Daw; grandchildren, Shane Lollar (Candace), LeAnn Cooper (Heath) and Aundrea Lollar (AJ); and one great-grandchild, Julia Rose Cooper; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mary was a loving wife for over 50 years to her late husband, John Lollar. She was a long term resident of the Piney Woods community and more recently Presbyterian Apartments. Mary made friends easily and had many friends who loved her. She was honest, hard working and she loved her family. Pallbearers will be Heath Cooper, Mart Odom, Jeff Hannah, Jessie Ray Hannah, Shane Lollar and Wayne McPherson. Honorary pallbearers are residents and staff of Presbyterian Apartments, Dr. Tade Pallie and staff, Dr. Browne and staff, Hospice of West Alabama and a host of other caregivers.
