Mary Frances Koster TUSCALOOSA Mary Frances Koster, age 87, of Tuscaloosa, died Feb. 22, 2013, at Hospice of West Alabama. Private services will be 2 p.m. today at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South with Bro. Bill Richards, Bro. Jerry Koster, and Bro. Jimmy Channell officiating. Burial will follow in Little Sandy Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Carl "J.C." Koster. Survivors include her daughter, Elaine Shealy (Ray); her sons, Carl Koster (Sue), Danny Koster (Shirley), and Johnny Koster (Ann); six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was a great and loving mother and will be missed. Pallbearers will be John Koster, Jeff Koster, Hunter Channell, Garrett West, Caleb West, Brandon Klipstine, and Aaron Klipstine. Honorary pallbearers are Dean Kornegay, Elaine Perkins, Odia May Foster, Janice Green, Hospice of West Alabama, staff of Hunter Creek Nursing Home, Gray Elaine Click, Englewood Baptist Church, and Crestline Baptist Church.
