Mary Lee ""Nanny"" Boswell King, age 83, of Tuscaloosa, died June 6, 2017, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, June 9, 2017, at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South with Rev. Billy Gray, Rev. Ed King and Rev. Jerry Croft officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be today, June 8, 2017, from 7 to 9 p.m., at the funeral home. The body will lie in state one hour prior to services. Survivors include her husband, Alton King; daughters, Carol Dalsing (Al) and Connie King Palmer; sister, Sarah Allison (Jack); brother, Billy Boswell (Patty); four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Nanny was a loving wife for 60 years, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved life, all of her children, her many hobbies and never missed ""the dance."" Pallbearers will be Hunter Porter, Todd Masterson, Jack Allison, Josh Holder, Mark Allison and Fred Pahman. Honorary pallbearers are DCH Regional Medical Center staff, Dr. Sunil Chandra, Northport DCH Volunteers, Crestline Baptist Church, Hobby Lobby, Bryant Bank, The Radiology Clinic, Kindred Home Health, West Alabama Family Practice & Sports Medicine, Englewood - Hulls Water Authority, Center for Pain Management in Ky. and a special lady, Pat Brunner. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Crestline Baptist Church or Northport DCH Volunteers.
