Mary Ann Partrich Judice TUSCALOOSA | Mary Ann Partrich Judice, age 81, of Tuscaloosa, died December 10, 2013, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, December 13, 2013, at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North with Dr. Ken Dunivant officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery of Tuscaloosa with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be Friday from 12 noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Frank and Mary Hargis; parents, Glenn and Mary Partrich; and son, Joseph Murphy Judice, Jr. Survivors include her loving companion of 33 years, Dr. Frank Horner; daughter, Glenda Judice Snyder; grandchildren, Justin Snyder (Jessica) and Stephanie Snyder. Mary Ann was a homemaker, but after raising her family she worked as a dental assistant and later as executive secretary at R. L. Ziegler Packing Company. Her final employment before retiring was Assistant Branch Manager at First State Bank/Cadence Bank in Northport. She loved music and played the piano well, along with square dancing and the twist in its popular day. Mary Ann and Frank enjoyed traveling and the mountain of Gatlinburg was one of their favorite places especially in the fall with the changing of the leaves. The beach and the love of the Outer Banks of North Carolina were locations they spent many enjoyable trips. She was a good cook and it pleased her serving her family. Coffee she loved and her favorite brand "JFG Coffee" which was very hard to find in our area. Mary Ann, Margaret Ann, Martha Ann and Jo Ann were a very special four. "Gal Pals" that maintained a friendship throughout her life. Nothing was more enjoyable than her grandchildren, Justin, Jessica and Stephanie not forgetting her feline "Bumps". Last but not least, the love of 33 years Frank, who brought happiness and joy being her best friend and companion. Pallbearers will be Justin Snyder, Tommy Hester, David Partrick, Sr., David Partrich, Jr., Kyle Murphy and Robert Thomas Floyd. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of West Alabama and First United Methodist Church of Tuscaloosa.
