Mary Ann Hall NORTHPORT | Mary Ann Hall, age 81, of Northport, died January 20, 2016, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, January 24, 2016, at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North with Rev. Rusty Selman officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Mary Ann is preceded in death by her loving husband, Don of 43years; her parents, William and Christina Carolan; sisters, Colette Fagan, Angela Marron, Rosie Maguire and Nancy Sourke. Mary Ann is survived by her sister, Sally Manning; nieces and nephews. Mary Ann Hall was born Maurie Carolan in Ireland June 14th 1934, she made Chicago, America her home in 1963 where she later met Donald Wayne Hall and they married in 1971. It wasn't long before they headed south to the beautiful southern state of Alabama where they were shown the true meaning of southern hospitality and made Northport their home. Mary Ann loved the Lord and worshipped with Don and her Church family at Northwood Hills Baptist Church where they were longtime members. Mary Ann worked in Gayfers and after at Para Recreational Parks. Pallbearers will be Martin Sourke, Randy Frost, Dennis Hall, Royce Kirkland, Don Williams and Brook Jones. Honorary pallbearers are members of Grace Sunday School at Northwood Hills Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family request that any donations be made to Northwood Hills Baptist Church or Hospice of West Alabama.
