Mary "Faye"� Crowe, age 79, of Tuscaloosa, went to rest in her heavenly home on Wednesday morning, October 12, 2016, at DCH Regional Medical Center with her family by her side. She was preceded in death by her parents, Burl and Mertie Townsend; and siblings, Mildred Oswalt, Sakie Dailey, Helen Burdett, James Townsend, Gerald Townsend and Larette Gable. She is survived by her son, Greg Crowe (Patti); daughter, Teresa Suarez (Adrian); Bubba Castleberry (Cheryl); grandchildren, Spencer Suarez, Caitlin Crowe, Collin Crowe and Carson Crowe and Bennett Castleberry and John Cole Castleberry; and her siblings, Nell Short, Hazel Meacham (Ray) and Rhonda Crowe. Faye spent over forty-five years in the Circuit Clerk"�s Office, with the majority of her time spent as the Deputy Circuit Clerk. Faye"�s favorite pastime was supporting her grandchildren in their sporting events and extracurricular activities. When not with her grandchildren, she loved her usual Friday night dominos and travelling to the University of Alabama basketball and football games. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday morning, October 17, 2016, at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South. A visitation will be held today, October 16, 2016, from 5 -7 p.m., at the funeral home. A burial service will follow the memorial service at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South is handling arrangements. Dr. Billy Joy and Brother Ronnie Thompson will perform the funeral service while Brother Buddy Poe will conduct the burial service. Pallbearers will be Collin Crowe, Carson Crowe, Spencer Suarez, Kenny Crowe and John Cole Castleberry. Honorary pallbearers include George Nassaney, the employees and all former employees of the Circuit Clerk"�s office and her Valley View Baptist Church Bible Study Class. The family would like to give a special thank you to Pastor Curtis Kelley, Terri Ellis, JoAnn Hinton and Dr. Scott Atkins.
