Margaret Lee Cunningham Fortner Vann, age 56, of Tuscaloosa, died Jan. 10, 2012. Services will be 2 p.m. today at Double Portion Church with Pastor Hayse Moss officiating. Burial will follow in Williamson Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Boyd Vann, and her father, Perry R. Cunningham Jr. Survivors include her daughter, Tracie Snodgrass (Tim) of Uniontown and Cynthia Fontecha (Farley) of San Diego, Calif.; her son, Brian Fortner of Greensboro; her sisters, Shirley C. Scott of Coker, Rowena Spetka (Rick) of Rhode Island, and Emily C. Beams and Charlene Estes (Larry), both of Tuscaloosa; her brothers, Johnny Cunningham (Wanda) of Northport, John Cunningham (Terri) of Coker, Perry Cunningham (Fran) of Tuscaloosa, Keith Cunningham of Tuscaloosa, and David Cunningham of Buhl; her mother, Opal Preston of Reform; her stepmother, Clara Cunningham of Tuscaloosa; her grandchildren, Micheal "Smak" Fortner, Dennis Fitzhugh II, Joshua Fitzhugh, Chelsea Duke, Rachel Duke, Antonio Taylor, Tobias Fortner, Tyler Fortner, and Jamie Fortner; and her loving Chihuahua, Dixie. Born in Tuscaloosa, she was a longtime resident of Alabama. She spent the last three years living in San Diego, Calif. She was known for her beautiful blue eyes, love for family, and her love of Chihuahuas. You are loved and will be missed. Pallbearers will be Keith Cunningham, David Cunningham, Laramie Scott, David Vann, Micheal Fortner, Dennis Fitzhugh, Joshua Fitzhugh, and Rachel Duke.
