Margaret was the loving, caring mother of Gabrielle L. Rivers - Rainbolt and James M. Rivers, and grandmother to 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Margaret was a green thumb gardener and never met a flower she did not love. She enjoyed tending to her plants as she did her children and grandchildren with tender loving kindness. Margaret was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan as her loyalty was linked to her vocation of a bookkeeper for the University. She loved collecting figurines and ceramics and expressing her imagination and creativity by staging elaborate miniature vignettes. Margaret had the heart of a servant and was generous in her giving to numerous organizations, charities, and others in need. She had the unique ability to love people who had befriended her as well as complete strangers. She loved to stay in touch with her family and regularly spoke with friends and relatives who have moved far away.
Margaret your children and loved ones look forward to reconnecting with you in Heaven as our LORD and Savior promises.
