Margaret (Peggy) A. Carlisle born January 18, 1942, passed away at age 79 on February 1, 2021. She was born and raised in Pensacola Florida. Just before graduating from Tate high school, Peggy met her soon to be husband, Jerry. Fast forward through their wedding, three moves, and four daughters, Peggy and her family settled in Tuscaloosa, Alabama where she nurtured her family and worked in kindergarten for 10 years at Holy Spirit Catholic School. Eventually Peggy and Jerry moved back to Pensacola where she worked as a route manager for the Pensacola News Journal. Peggy had a life long love tending plants and flowers. She loved family photos and collecting Delft China. The entirety of Peggy's life was filled with selfless service to others, often at the expense of her own health and well being. She was always ready to help emotionally, mentally, physically, and financially in any and every way she could. Peggy is preceded in death by her daughter Victoria Carlisle Stough and great granddaughter, Addison. Peggy is survived by her loving husband and "savior" of 60 years, Jerry, and their remaining daughters Leanne Carlisle, Tina Cork (Jimmy), and Suzie Hall (John), 13 grand children and 8 great grandchildren.
Known variously as "Baby", "Mom", "Mama", "Grandma", "G-Ma" and "Mom-C", this world and our lives have been blessed by her presence and we will be forever changed by losing her.
Peggy, our love for you will never end! Rest now in the arms of Jesus, where peace and comfort are unending!
