Maggie Maudine Taylor MOUNDVILLE | Maggie Maudine Taylor, age 78, of Moundville, died October 6, 2014, at Hospice of West Alabama. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 8, 2014, at Oak Hill Cemetery with Pastor Patsy Tant officiating and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Newman Taylor, Jr.; parents, Arvin and Maggie Johnson; and brother, Irvin Paul Johnson and family. Survivors include her son, Tim Taylor (Nancy) of Moundville; and grandson, Trent Taylor of Moundville. She was retired from Partlow State School as a mental health worker. She was a member of Taylor's Chapel Church of the Nazarene. She was a Hale County High School graduate, Class of 1954. Maudine was a very caring and loving person from the inside out. Honorary pallbearers are Hospice of West Alabama, Dr. Larry Skelton, the staff of Moundville Health & Rehab, special caregivers, Gail Winn, Helen Shelton, Donna Sealey and Peggy Taylor, and friends and family of the Moundville community. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of West Alabama.
