Louise Rayfield Seale | GREENSBORO Louise Rayfield Seale, age 88, of Greensboro, formerly of Akron, died April 9, 2011, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Akron Baptist Church with Bro. Bryan Allen and Bro. Mike Snow officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hebron Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be tonight at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. The body will lie in state one hour prior to services at the church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Dawson Rayfield and Eva Hall Thomas Rayfield; husband, Charles Gordon Seale; brothers, William Durall Rayfield and Tom Allen Rayfield; and sisters, Emma Allen Rayfield, Evelyn Rayfield Seale, and Eva Lou Ballard. She is survived by her daughter, Jane Alice Seale of Greensboro, Ala.; sons, Charles Merrill Seale (Carol) and Edwin Dawson Seale (Mandy), both of Greensboro, Ala.; sister, Mary Willard Wadley of Akron, Ala.; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Seale Caldwell of Pell City, Ala. and Frances S. Seale of Greensboro, Ala.; brothers, Carl Edward Rayfield of Yazoo City, Miss. and Robert Hall Rayfield (Mary Lou) of Brandon, Miss.; grandchildren, Christopher T. Seale (Jennifer) of Chattanooga, Tenn., Robbie Rose (Angela) of Greensboro, Ala., Kimberly W. Davis (Travis) of Greensboro, Ala., Richard Rose of Greensboro, Ala., Paul McAdams (Amber) of Muscle Shoals, Ala., Kelly W. Kyser (Townsend) of Greensboro, Ala., and Nicholas R. Seale (Catherine) of Greensboro, Ala; 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Seale spent most of her life in Akron, Alabama and lived the last few years in Greensboro, Alabama. She was a member of Akron Baptist Church where she served as Sunday School teacher and member of WMU. She also served as director of the Hale Associational WMU. She was the office manager at Dairy Fresh Ice Cream until her retirement. Pallbearers will be Christopher T. Seale, Robbie Rose, Richard Rose, Nicholas Seale, Paul McAdams, Travis Davis, Townsend Kyser, and Roger Arrington. Honorary pallbearers are staff of Colonial Haven Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Dr. William S. Lee, Dr. Matthew Bentley, Dr. F. Fabian Salinas, nurses and staff of ACCICU at DCH Regional Medical Center, employees of Colburn's Flower Shop, members of Akron Baptist Church, employees of former Dairy Fresh Ice Cream Company, Amedisys nurses, Mary J. Warren and Kim McCrory, and friends of the Akron and Greensboro community. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to your local church or the charity of one's choice.
