Lottice Greer MOUNDVILLE | Lottice "Soot" Greer, age 88, of Moundville, died September 5, 2014. Services will be 4 p.m. Monday, September 8, 2014, at Moundville Baptist Church with Brother Jason Duckett officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be Monday one hour prior to services at the church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman "Shorty" Greer; parents, Wilma and Ira Beckham; and great-granddaughter, Sydney West. Survivors include her daughters, Linda West (Jim), Sandra Ryan (Randy), Phyllis McDow (Tim), and Charlene Simon (Michael); grandchildren, Aaron West, Stuart West (Kristen), Kip Ryan, Kasey O'Bryant, Kyson Ryan, Dustin McDow (Casey), Kenzie Christian (Brett), Blair Blanton (Stacey), Cruz Blanton, Derek and Troy Simon; great-grandchildren, Elah and Sailor West, Gage Ryan and Slade Rudd, Logan, Lexi, and Luke O'Bryant, Kasyn, Kash, and Kane Ryan, Macy McDow, Weston McDow, Riley and Carsen Christian; and special family, Prim Ryan, Angie Ryan and Vi Roberts. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Honorary pallbearers are Moundville friends, neighbors and community. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Moundville Baptist Church - Nursery Fund.
