LORIE MARTIN WHATLEY Lorie Martin Whatley age 47 of Northport, Al. died May 30, 2013 at Hospice of West Alabama Service will be held Sunday June 2, 2013 at 4:00pm at Magnolia Chapel South with Rev. Matt Weems Officiating and Magnolia Chapel South handling arrangements . Entombment will follow in Magnolia Chapel Mausoleum. Visitation will be held Saturday June 1, 2013 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Magnolia Chapel South. Lorie is preceded in death byher Father William H, Martin and her Grandparents; Ethel Martin, and Dewitt and Hyacinth Stringer Survivors include her Daughters; Michelle Bigham, Crystal Whatley and Fiance Michael Jones. Stepson; Randy (Holly) Whatley Step sister; April (Tony) Tidwell of Fayette Step brother;David (Shanna) Dozier of Fayette Parents; Barbara (James) Dozier of Northport Uncles; Sonny (Dora) and Edwin (Connie) Stringer all of Tuscaloosa and her Grandchilren; Hunter an Bailey Bigham Pallbearerswill be Don Stringer, Clint Stringer, Kerry Hall, Chase Morgan, Toby Hamner, and James Booth Honorary Pallbearers will be a Faithful and lifelong friend Kathy Pugh. Loving cousin Lauren Morgan, cousin Charles Stringer, Business Supply - Tommy and Pat Howard, special friends Taylor Berilla, George Nassany, Bannie Smithson, Rachele Kelley, Donna Daugherty, Tonya Decker and Brenda Hitt, Staff of Manderson Cancer Center, Staff of 2 se at DCH and Staff of Hospice of West Alabama. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of West Alabama Lorie was a Life long resident of Tuscaloosa, graduated from Tuscaloosa County High School in 1984, and was an employee of Business Supply for over 27 years. She loved Bowling and was a member of Tuscaloosa Bowling Assoc. for over 10 years.
