Lois Anders

Lois Anders BUHL - Lois Anders, age 89, of Buhl, died August 2, 2017, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, August 4, 2017, at Mt. Hebron Baptist Church with Bro. Glen Kennedy and Bro. Steve Kelley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be today, August 3, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. The body will lie in state one hour prior to services at the church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Alma Owens; husband, John Anders; brother, Obie Owens; and two sisters, Irma Kinard and Annie Joe Babb. Survivors include her son, Ronald Anders (Sue); sister-in-law, Odessa Anders; brother-in-law, Sammie Anders; grandson, Brian Anders (Christy); granddaughter, Kaci Anders; and numerous nieces and nephews. Lois was retired from DCH Regional Medical Center after 37 years of service. She was a lifelong member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church and was a loving mother and grandmother that will be deeply missed. Pallbearers will be Brian Anders, R. L. Hobson, Kenny Hobson, Randy Anders, Mike Anders and Donny Jones. Honorary pallbearers are Mt. Hebron Baptist Church, Moores Bridge community, Hospice of West Alabama, DCH Regional Medical Center and Glen and Elaine Kennedy. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Hospice of West Alabama or Mt. Hebron Cemetery Fund.
