Lloyd Darrell Johnson Lloyd Darrell Johnson, age 66, of Moundville, AL died February 4, 2016 at DCH Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be at Oak Hill Cemetery Sunday February 7, 2016 at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Charles Spence officiating. He was preceded in death by his father Lloyd M. Johnson, mother Madie Johnson Watson, and daughter, Wendy Johnson Harbin all of Moundville. Survivors include his son Shane Johnson, sister Joyce McClain (Eugene), grandchildren Jayci Harbin, Lyndsie Harbin, Katie Johnson and Ben Johnson all of Moundville. Darrell was a graduate of Hale County High School. After leaving high school, he enlisted in to the U.S. Navy, and was honorably discharged after four years. He was employed with Alabama Power Company until his retirement in 2004. The family would like to express their thanks to Linda Royal, caregiver for many years, Dr. Larry Skelton and his staff, Hale County EMS, Amedisys Home Heath Care, and many more. Honorary pallbearers are friends and neighbors of the community.
