Lisa Snyder Hutchins, 61 of Tuscaloosa went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at home. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at 10:00 am at Memory Hill Gardens with Bro. Curtis Kelley officiating and Magnolia Chapel South directing.
Lisa was preceded in death by her parents Grover and Darlene Snyder, brother; Randy Snyder, nephew; Todd Richardson, parent-in-laws; W.B. Hutchins,Jr. and Millie Hutchins, brother-in-laws; W.B. Hutchins, III and Raymond Hutchins.
Survivors include her husband of 37 years, John Hutchins, daughter and son-in-law; Taylor and Brandon Hughes, grandson; Eli Baker Hughes, granddaughter; Grayton Bay Hughes, sister; Rita Richardson (Ken), sister-in-laws; Krista Snyder, and Priscilla Hutchins, other survivors include nieces; Keely Snyder Duke, Fran Hutchins, nephews; Andrew Snyder, Lee Hutchins (Chandra), and several great nieces and nephews and extended family.
Lisa was a faithful member of Taylorville Baptist Church. She always had a servant's heart and willing hands to minister to others. Lisa was thoughtful and giving; a graceful and peaceful southern women. She was especially appreciative of all the love and support shown to her in recent months.
Lisa retired from Mercedes Benz in 2020, after 25 years of employment. Lisa enjoyed planting beautiful flowers, cooking her mother's recipes, reading a good book, traveling, and cheering for the Alabama Crimson Tide and Atlanta Braves. Dearest to her heart was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. They knew her as LiLi and to them , she was the "truest and rarest gem ever". Lisa left heartprints in many lives.
Pallbearers will be Ken Richardson, Jimmy Burns, Rusty Hunt, Jason McClusky, Randy Hamner and Perry Turner.
Honorary pallbearers are Melissa and Scott Ryan, Dana and Scott Johnson, Demetrice and Ricky Davis, Renee and Robert Pennington, Missy Simpson, Samone and Tommy Colvin, Gayle and Mike Bailey, Rusty and Lisa Hunt, Randy and Kristy Hamner, Becky and Dowell Phillips, Margaret Beasley, Curtis and Barbara Kelley, Randy and Penny Pate, Gayle and Perry Turner, Randy and Janice Brown, Ricky and Judy Johnson, Frank and Teresa Costanza, Holli Moss, Drs. and staff at Lewis and Faye Manderson Cancer Center, neighbors of Hinton Place, members of Taylorville Baptist Church and Ridgecrest Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Taylorville Baptist Church or your favorite charity.
