Linda Nevin

Linda Sue Nevin (née Price) , age 63 of Moundville, passed away June 1, 2021 at home. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 11:00 am at Carthadge Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel South directing. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Mrs. Nevin's residence next door to the church. May 6, 1958 - June 1, 2021. The family will hold a funeral service at Moundville Church of The Nazarene at 12:00 noon following the graveside service.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Eva and Nick Ramer; her brother, Henry Price; her husband of over 27 years, James Randall Nevin; her second husband, Tony Nichols; an infant son, James Randall, Jr.; and a daughter, Jennifer Raven.

She is survived in death by her husband, Tim Eady, her son, William (Kate Furek), and her grandson, Joshua Snipes.

Linda was born in Atmore, Ala. on the Poarch Creek Indian Reservation. She attended The University of West Florida and valued education above all other things. Linda joyfully taught hundreds of children at Moundville Elementary School for 30 years before retiring to spend more time with her family and her beloved grandson. She will be greatly missed by her family and especially by her close friends, Donna and Allen Davis, and the congregation of the Moundville Church of the Nazarene.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Moundville Elementary School.
