Lillie Peeks

Lillie L. Peeks, age 85, died October 7, 2016 at Forest Manor Nursing Home. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Magnolia Chapel North with Jimmy Garner officiating. Burial will follow in Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, October 10, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. She was preceded in death by her husband JC Peeks; daughter, Linda G. Peeks; grandson, Specialist Michael P. Bridges; brothers, William Cowart, LV Cowart Jr., Sonny Cowart, Owen Cowart; and sisters, Laudice Perrigin and Deline Brown. Survivors include her daughters, Brenda Burt of Northport, Ala., Janice Bridges of Las Cruces, N.M.; sisters, Betty Jo Jourdon, Sue Plymon (Roy); brothers, Fred Cowart (Faye), Tommy Cowart (Susan); grandchildren, Janet Lindsey (Hal), Christopher Bosch (Brandi), Jason Bridges (Rosemary) and Zach Bridges (Pauline); great- grandchildren, Chasity Elmore (Justin), Blake Lindsey, Zoe Bridges, Andrew Bridges; and great great-grandchild, Hutson B. Elmore. Pallbearers will be Jerry Perrigin, Benny Perrigin, Bobby Cowart, Gordon Acker, Terry Jourdan, and Phillip Hoggle. Honorary pallbears are Forest Manor Nursing Home, Hospice of West Alabama and mom's girls that she worked for many years.
