Lillie Mae Jenkins Lawrence DUNCANVILLE | Lillie Mae Jenkins Lawrence, age 74, of Duncanville, Ala., died Wednesday, November 11, 2015, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, November 15, 2015, at Carroll's Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Alan Roggli officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday, November 15, 2015, at Carroll's Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Tom and Asalene Jenkins and Richard and Lillie Turner; parents, Lawson Jenkins and Vinnie Jenkins Todd; brother, L.J. Jenkins; and daughter, Sharon Lawrence Gowins. Survivors include her husband, Henry F. Lawrence; daughters, Brenda Weems (Donnie), Anne Leftwich (Bobby) and Lisa Lawrence; sister, Faye Busby (Wayne); brothers, James Jenkins (Donna), Tommy Jenkins (Lulabelle), Bobby Jenkins and David Jenkins; grandchildren, Michael Gowins, Christopher Marcum, Andrew Marcum and Joseph Marcum; and step-grandchild, Brandon Leftwich. Lillie was a loving mother to four daughters and loving wife for 59 years. She worked side by side with her husband running a business for 30 years. She loved to travel, read and sew but her greatest joy was spending time with her loving husband and children. She will be missed by all who knew her. Pallbearers will be Joseph Marcum, Andrew Marcum, Brandon Leftwich, Tommy D. Jenkins, Phillip Averette, Parker Jenkins and J.R. Jenkins. Honorary pallbearers are Northstar EMS and the employees and customers of the former L&H Truck Service.
