Lewis C. Smallwood BERRY - Lewis C. Smallwood, age 91, of Berry, Ala. died at DCH Regional Medical Center on September 3, 2017. Services will be 2 p.m. September 6, 2017, at Magnolia Funeral Home North with Bro. Terry Oswalt officiating. Burial will follow in Flatwoods Cemetery on County Road 46 in Jasper, with Magnolia Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his mother, Effie Smallwood; sisters, Belle Gurganus and Bessie Bridgewater; brothers, Buster, Zivery, Richard and Julian Smallwood. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Pauline Smallwood, Berry; son, Vince Smallwood (Annette Smallwood-Lewis), Northport; grandchildren, Allyssa Smallwood, Tuscaloosa and Eric Smallwood, Northport. Pallbearers will be: Eric Smallwood, Russell Smallwood, Mitchell Smallwood, Joey Gurganus, Leon Gant, and Tim Bozeman.
