Lewis Frederick Hamilton Sr. EUTAW - Lewis Frederick Hamilton, Sr., age 86, of Eutaw, Ala., died Wednesday, January 18, 2017, at home. Services will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, January 21, 2017, at Eutaw Baptist Church with Rev. Carl Sudduth and Rev. Rick Williams officiating. Burial will follow Mesoptamia Cemetery of Eutaw, Ala. with Magnolia Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. Saturday, January 21, 2017, at Eutaw Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alice Lamb and Samuel P. Hamilton and sons, Freddie Hamilton and Jimmy Hamilton. Survivors include his wife, Helen D. Hamilton; daughter, Mary Helen Jenkins (Ken); daughter-in-law, Harriet Hamilton; son, Jacky Hamilton (Sandra); grandchildren, Heather, Eric, Chris, Ashley, Taylor and Paige Hamilton and Matt Jenkins; and great-grandchildren, Luscian and James Hamilton. Lewis was a veteran having served in the United States Army and was a member of Eutaw Baptist Church. He also was a long time employee of Black Warrior Electric retiring as a lineman. Pallbearer will be Chris Hamilton, Eric Hamilton, Daniel Smith, Taylor Hamilton, Matt Jenkins, Ron Coblentz and Joe. C. Sanders. Honorary pallbearers are Ernie Halper, Bennie Sam Snoddy, Chris Beeker, Bennie Abrams, Tennyson Smith and Linda Wheat.
