Lena Kimbrell

Lena Pearl Kimbrell, age 85, of Northport, Ala., died December 26, 2018, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 29, 2018, at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North with Brother Denny Renfroe officiating. Burial will follow in Flatwoods Baptist Church Cemetery in Berry, Ala. with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vester Kimbrell; son, James Vester (Jimmy) Kimbrell; and daughter, Carol Sue Kimbrell Johnson.
Survivors include her daughters, Kathy Kimbrell, Donna Kimbrell, and Guynda "Gwen" Kimbrell Houston; son, Randy Lee Kimbrell; sister, Peggy Barrentine; and grandchildren, Amanda Colburn, Kelly Chanel, Todd Bickerton, Timothy Bickerton, Leah Carolyn, Tina Milligan, Dana Shockley, Teresa Kizziah and Jeremy Keith Houston; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Todd Bickerton, Timothy Bickerton, Jeremy Houston and Shawn Bickerton; Ricky Lollar and Wayne Hodo.
Honorary pallbearers are staff and doctors of DCH Regional Medical Center ICU, Dr. Jennifer Clem, Dr. Sakina Kamal and residents of Presbyterian Apartments.
