Lawson Joseph Young, Jr. COTTONDALE | Lawson Joseph Young, Jr., age 91 of Cottndale diead on December 1, 2016 at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be held on Saturday December 3, 2016 at Magnolia Chapel South at 10:00am with Bro. Jimmy Garner and Brother Cullen Williams officiatting, the family has requested a private burial. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Magnolia Chapel South with Magnolia Chapel South directing. He is preceded in death by his wife Lora Young and his parents Lawson and Bessie Young. Survivors include his son Joe Young; grandchildren; Tyson Young and Janice Fowler (Chris) and one great grandchild Tori Fowler. He was a Mason 32nd Scottish Rite and served in the Navy and National Gaurd. Honorary pallbearers will be Skyland Blvd. Baptist Church, Mr. and Mrs. DeRoy Woods, Mr. and Mrs. George Albert Morrison, Charlie Graham, Ed King, Robert and Judy Culp, Barbara and Sammy Shutts and M&M Turner.
