Lauren Hodges

Lauren Parker Hodges, age 38 of Moundville, passed away September 16, 2021 at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Magnolia Chapel South with Rev. Grant Parker, Sr. and Rev. Jim Lavender officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm at the funeral home.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents Perry Lee Parker Jr, Edna Grant Parker Bush, Charles P Bush, Alva and Katherine Brunson.

Lauren is survived by her loving husband Jeremy Hodges, sons Bryant Taylor and Braxton Taylor, step children Taylor Hodges and Caleb Hodges, Grandson, Bennet, parents; Rev. Grant and Letha Parker, siblings Timothy Parker, Jesse Parker and Rachel Parker along with many other family and friends.

Lauren loved being a mom and spending time with her boys. She always loved supporting them at their sporting events and finding ways to make memories. Lauren's career in nursing reflected her caring and compassion towards other people. With eyes so bright and beautiful, and so full of life Lauren was always ready to plan the next trip or camping adventure. Lauren was always so brave and strong through her journey and her faith in God was unwavering. To know her was to love her and she will be missed by all that knew her.
