Kenneth Farris

Kenneth O. Farris, Sr., age 72, of Cottondale, Ala., died August 11, 2017, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 4 p.m. today, August 13, 2017, at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North with Cade Farris officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Survivors include his wife, Mevalyn H. Farris; daughters; Brandi S. Eggleton and Cothi F. Hendrix; sons, Brady Farris and Kent Farris; sisters, Marlene Brown, Mary Simmons and Peggy Burton; brothers, C.L. Farris, Jimmy Farris and George Farris; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Mr. Farris was employed at Lucent Technologies. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Hospice of West Alabama or Home Instead Senior Care.
