Kelly Smith

Kelly Smith passed away in the early morning of June 20, 2018 at the age of 52. She battled a brain tumor for three years before passing peacefully in her sleep at home with her loved ones.
Kelly was married to the love of her life for 31 years and was a devoted and hardworking mother to three daughters. Kelly was always a hardworking woman, and as well as homeschooling her children, Kelly worked in marketing, becoming the District Supervisor for her company over most of the South. The tireless work and wisdom that Kelly put into her family and the example she set will show in her family with everything they achieve, and the happiness they find for the rest of their lives.
She is survived by her husband, Ray Smith; her daughters, Lauren Gibson, Allison Smith and Elizabeth Smith; her grandchildren, Lawson Gibson and June Gibson; her father, Jerry Hutchens; and her brothers, Eric Hutchens, Randal Hutchens and Scott Hutchens.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Myra Hutchens.
A memorial service will be held at Holton Heights church in Tuscaloosa, Ala., at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 25, 2018 with Brian Thomas officiating and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing.
