Daniel never met an enemy; everyone he ever met was a friend. In the 23 years he spent on this earth, he spread kindliness and positivity wherever he went. That is why he has so many friends. Everyone wanted to bask in the glow that was pure Daniel. Daniel enjoyed working at McKinney Electric. He had many loves. He loved football. He played running back for Northside High School and was known as "Lightning Bolt Holt" because he was so quick. He had a life-long dream to play college football and was able to fulfil that playing for East Central Community College. He never lost that love of football and continued to follow that sport with the love of a fan who has played and understands the effort and dedication it requires. Daniel loved to be fit and healthy. He was a bodybuilder and loved to be in the gym among the weights. He loved to work-out with friends and family; constantly striving to be better, do better, increase his strength, and refine his skills. He encouraged everyone he met to do better too. He somehow motivated everyone he met to chase their dreams as they would watch him chase his. His excitement was contagious. Daniel loved his families. Daniel was so giving, kind, and loving that he was accepted into many families as one of their own. He had many mothers and several fathers, but no one has as many brothers as Daniel. With a heart as big as the sky, Daniel would take people into his heart and into his "family" and never let them go. Once you belonged to Daniel, you were family for life. Daniel had a glow. He had an inner light that shone into everyone he met. This world will be a little dimmer from this day forward without him. But if you knew and loved Daniel and had a bit of his light shone upon you, then take that light and reflect it back into the world. That way, Daniel will always be here shining his light on us all. Pallbearers will be Dylan Horton, Cole Horton, Cody Montgomery, Christopher Allen, Christian Stewart, and Nick Beasley. Honorary pallbearers are Caleb Ingram, Cole Ingram, Hunter Horton, Jacob Horton, Sawyer Horton, and Mason Turner.
