Kathy D. Blakeney NORTHPORT | Kathy D. Blakeney, age 56, of Northport, died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2014 at Northport Medical Center. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2014 at Sulphur Springs Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Rick Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel North Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. She was preceded in death by her dad, Billy R. Dockery. Survivors include her husband, Michael Blakeney; daughter, Amy Bolton (Brad); brother, Billy M. Dockery; mother, Sue Dockery Hubbard (Jack); and grandson, Logan Bolton. Kathy was a devoted wife, mother and "MeMe." She loved her family dearly. Her only grandson, Logan, was the joy of her life. She inspired many with her loving kindness, constant positivity and unwavering faith. We were blessed to love her and that we celebrate that Heaven has a new angel today. Pallbearers will be Todd Bolton, Nelson Pepper, Shannon Dockery, Brian Bryant, Rush Cameron, and John Cameron. Special thanks to Donnie Hallman and the Samantha Volunteer Fire Department.
