Julia Bunn

Julia Elizabeth Bunn, of Greensboro, Ala., died Sunday, May 14, 2017, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at Antioch Baptist Church, 929 County Road 3, Greensboro, AL 36744, with Preachers Arthur Thomas, Wade McCrory and Bobby Sanford officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be two hours prior to services at the church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vera Windham and Troy E. Ford. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Jimmy C. Bunn, Sr.; sons, Jimmy Bunn, Jr. (LaJuan) and William Bunn (Cherie); daughters, Lisa Zepeda (Jerry Harper), Belinda Simmons (Wayne) and Susan Weathery (Tim); 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and special children, Kay Coker, Tabitha George, Michelle Roberts, Randy and Christy Wilborn, Beverly Drake, Daniel Wilson, Bert Hamm, Mac McKinney, Paula Langham, Danny and Tami Henry, Terri Wilborn, Deana Beckham, Thomas and Melissa Averette, Donna Shirley and Jamie Johnson. Pallbearers will be Matthew Christian, Joey Christian, Zach Mott, Levi Bunn, Wayne Simmons, Jerry Harper, Tim Weatherly, Jon Thomas, Thomas Averette and Steven Martin. Honorary pallbearers are Greensboro Baptist, Antioch Baptist, New Haven Baptist Church, Concord Baptist Church, Greensboro Bible Methodist Church, Northport Church of God, Boligee Presbyterian Church, Dr. Walter Smith and Dr. William Wright, Brother Dan Allen, Larry and Rosie Johnson, Fonda Sherrill, ST Bunn Construction Company, Bro. Dan Allen, Barnette Transportation and David and Glenda Rouse. Every child that ever graced her front door thru the years.
