Joseph D. Sansom NORTHPORT - Joseph D. "Joe" Sansom, age 66, of Northport, died July 12, 2016. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, July 16, 2016, at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North with Rev. Kris Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to services at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rubin H. Sansom and Emma J. Blankenship and sister, Sandra Sansom. Survivors include his wife, Reta Sansom; son, Chris Sansom; daughters, Pam McAdams (Steve), Kim Falls (Shawn) and Christa Sansom (Chance); brothers, Rubin H. Sansom, Jr. (Eva) and Jerry Wayne Sansom (Reba); sisters, Shirley S. Huff and Johanna Hoggle (Dennis); grandchildren, Joseph "Joe Joe" Sansom, Austin Estes, Courtney Brandan, Angel Turner, Dusty and Dixie McAdams; and Christa Sansom's future great-grandchild, Baby Pittman. Pallbearers will be James Skelton, Ken Skelton, Randy Collins, Michael Edwards, Bobby Kizziah, Doug Kizziah, Ben Mitchell and Chance Pittman. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Larry Skelton, Dr. Fred Graham, Northport Medical Center, Dr. Johnson and friends of the Samantha, Holt, Coker and Brookwood communities.
